INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD

Today is International Day of the Girl Child. In order to meet up with the nutrition and health challenges, SUWA in partnership with Vitamin Angels was able to reach under five children with a total of 5,500 Vitamin A (100,000iu & 200,000iu), 4,000 Albendazole (400mg) deworming tablet and 6,480 Multivitamins for pregnant and lactating women in 8 communities ( Barkin Ladi Central, Dorowa Babuje, Lobiring, Foron, Heipang, Chit, Rahol Gassa and Shak Gassa) of Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State in order to help in meeting the challenge of reducing mortality rate, improving nutrition, promoting sustainable development and building good and healthy future/tomorrow leaders. Happy International Day of the Girl Child.
